Why private yoga? What are the benefits?
With private yoga, you can get personal attention towards your goals in a session customized to fit your ability and skill level. You will progress much faster and see positive results sooner when a personal instructor gives you their full attention and focus.
Where do you teach yoga?
I teach yoga online via zoom or in-person private lessons at the Nourish Her studio in Inwood, WV. I also contract to teach in-person group classes at workplaces as an employee benefit.
Is yoga for me?
Yes! It is for everybody. Despite flexibility or level of ability - many traditional yoga poses are able to be modified to meet your needs (sitting instead of standing) or substituted for another pose with overlapping benefits.
What do I need to get started with a yoga practice?
You need an open mind of course - and a willingness to be challenged at something over and over again, yet still returning with curiosity. Props wise… You need at the very least a yoga mat. Additionally, I highly recommend 2 blocks and a D-ring yoga strap.
