This event is perfect for the stressed, creative professional, athlete or student, in need of an accessible yoga practice to dissipate mental overload through movement, breath and stretch.
What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa yoga involves practicing a guided (modifiable) sequence of asanas coordinating breath and movement. The aim is to bring you more physically into your body and therefore the present moment, thus unable to simultaneously worry while also gaining the benefits of fresh oxygen, elevated heart rate, and increased range of motion.
What to expect for class?
Bring your yoga mat, blocks, and any props you would like to incorporate into your practice. Class will consist of grounding breathwork and meditation, Sun salutations and a creative, explorative yoga flow sequence to pique your curiosity for linking vinyasa movement. We will relax with a guided meditation in savasana, allowing the sweet sounds of nature to reprogram our consciousness as we practice active rest. This is an open level class that can be modified to accommodate poses as needed.
What else to know or bring to be prepared?
In addition to bringing yoga mat, blocks, and any props you would like... Dress for the outdoor weather - I also recommend sunscreen, bug spray or essential oil repellent, water, towel, and maybe your lunch to relax and enjoy afterwards! Expect to be surrounded by nature with breathtaking views, paved trails, natural wildlife and a gorgeous landscape.
